Exclusive life insurance enquiries, sold to one broker only

Lead Foundry supplies exclusive life insurance enquiries to New Zealand brokers. Every enquiry is generated on a website we own, verified in four stages, then handed to a single broker and never resold. Eight brokerages across New Zealand currently buy life insurance leads from us. Brokers are invoiced fortnightly for what they accepted, with no retainer and no minimum spend. LoanWatch (loanwatch.co.nz and loanwatch.com.au) is the mortgage brand. It is in development and not yet live, so Lead Foundry is not selling mortgage enquiries today. Mortgage brokers can join the waitlist in the meantime.

What does Lead Foundry actually sell?

Lead Foundry sells exclusive consumer enquiries to licensed New Zealand brokers and advisers. An enquiry is a real person who has completed a form on one of our own sites, passed verification, and is expecting a call about their cover. Lead Foundry currently supplies life insurance enquiries in New Zealand. Mortgage supply opens when LoanWatch launches.

Lead Foundry owns and operates every site that produces the enquiries it sells. Today that is quotehub.co.nz, which supplies life insurance enquiries in New Zealand. It does not buy or resell records from list brokers, publisher networks or other lead vendors. Because we own the source, we control the form, the questions asked and the consent wording, and we can prove where every record came from.

How is this different from a lead aggregator?

Aggregators typically sell the same enquiry to several brokers at once, so the consumer receives multiple calls and the broker competes on dialling speed rather than advice. Lead Foundry does the opposite. Every enquiry is sold to exactly one broker and is never resold, recycled or shared.

Lead Foundry is also not a reseller. It does not buy records from list brokers, publisher networks or other lead vendors. Every enquiry is generated on a website Lead Foundry owns.

How are enquiries verified before they are sold?

Each enquiry passes a four-stage check before it is sold: SMS one-time-password, email loop, device fingerprint and identity check. Records that fail are not sold.

Enquiries that clear verification automatically are routed to the buying broker immediately, without manual handling. Lead Foundry does not publish a measured median delivery time yet: production volume is not large enough for a figure to be representative, and a measured distribution will be published here once it is.

What does it cost?

Brokers are invoiced fortnightly for the enquiries they accepted in that period. There is no retainer, no subscription, no platform fee and no minimum spend. Unit price depends on filters, volume, region and exclusivity requirements, which is why no per-unit price is published on this site.

Lead Foundry takes no referral fee or commission from any insurer. The broker pays Lead Foundry; the carrier pays the broker. That arrangement is disclosed on the consumer-facing form, which matters for a licensed adviser managing conflicts of interest.

Has anyone actually made money buying these enquiries?

A New Zealand life insurance adviser bought 125 exclusive enquiries from Lead Foundry and paid NZ$11,250 for them. Inside three months, those enquiries produced NZ$56,730 in commission across four insurers. That is 5 times the cost of the enquiries, or NZ$454 back for every NZ$90 spent. It is one buyer over one period, not a typical result and not a forecast.

The method is published in full rather than summarised: NZ$56,730 is commission actually received, with one exception. Two of the policies were placed with Momentum Life, which pays no upfront commission, so those two are valued at four times their combined annual premium of NZ$954. That comes to NZ$3,817, which is 6.7 per cent of the total. The other 93.3 per cent, NZ$52,913, is cash received. The NZ$3,817 is an estimate rather than money banked, and it is included in the total. If you would rather disregard that estimate entirely, the result on cash received alone is 4.7 times the enquiry spend rather than 5.0. The estimate is worth 0.34x, so nothing here rests on it. The figure is gross commission before the adviser’s own costs, before tax, and before any clawback during the responsibility period. It is what the enquiries produced, not profit.

The buyer is not named because Lead Foundry treats buyer identity as confidential by default. They have agreed to take a reference call. Ask on an intro call and an introduction will be arranged.

What is Lead Foundry not?

Lead Foundry supplies enquiries to licensed brokers. It is not an insurer, not a lender, and does not give financial advice. It does not compare or recommend products to consumers on this site, and it does not receive any payment from a product provider.

The trading entity is QuoteHub Limited, NZBN 9429053430991. Adviser fulfilment is filed against FSP1010699 on the public Financial Service Providers Register.

Frequently asked questions

Are Lead Foundry leads exclusive?

Yes. Every enquiry is sold to exactly one broker and is never resold, recycled or shared with another buyer. This is permanent, not a time-limited exclusivity window.

Where do the leads come from?

Lead Foundry owns and operates every site that produces the enquiries it sells. Today that is quotehub.co.nz, which supplies life insurance enquiries in New Zealand. It does not buy or resell records from list brokers, publisher networks or other lead vendors. Because Lead Foundry owns the source, it controls the form, the questions asked and the consent wording, and can evidence where every record came from.

How much do insurance leads cost in New Zealand?

Brokers are invoiced fortnightly for the enquiries they accepted in that period. There is no retainer, no subscription, no platform fee and no minimum spend. Wrong number, fake name and duplicate enquiries are credited back. Disputes are filed in the broker portal and reviewed within one business day, with the credit applied to the next fortnightly invoice.
